Projects

Over the years I have worked with a wide range of clients spanning various industries. This section is just a sampling of projects I've worked. Some of them are recent and some from the ol' archives.

Mammoth Coffee

The Mammoth folks are connoisseurs of coffee who enjoy focusing their energies on selecting just the right joes for their Newport, Kentucky, café. As a comparable aficionado, but for javascript rather than java, RTC built them a clean, easy-to-use site that lets them focus on their coffee rather than their website.

Mark Sullivan Homes

Here’s another small business that does highly individualized work – building custom homes on California’s central coast – in need of a web site that conveyed his ethos while allowing him to remain focused on his business.

It’s also another example that you can have an elegant, sleek-looking site along with powerful and simple content management.

SLO Car Free

SLO Care Free is the kind of project RTC loves. The Air Pollution Control District of San Luis Obispo County got a banging web site that fueled success for its new car-free tourism program, visitors get a great new resource for enjoying all the coastal California county has to offer, and Mother Nature gets fewer cars polluting her air.

NC Conference for Women

Last year’s site for the North Carolina Governor’s Conference for Women was cobbled together using Adobe Contribute. At first the organizers wanted to repeat the experience this year, but we were able to win their ways over to Drupal.

The initiative takes to the web to build community and participation, and Drupal is as robust and simple as it gets for such endeavors. The organizers wanted to incorporate blogs, polls, photo galleries, video, newsletter sign-ups and social media, on top of the usual articles and schedules.

Charlotte United Christian

Charlotte United Christian Academy is another example of the advantages of Drupal. The Charlotte school wanted to transition from its static site and get into newer technology and web-based editing tools.

The Boat Company

The Boat Company is a well-established provider of luxury Alaska adventure trips that wanted to freshen up its web presence. We began a few years ago by building a static site, but they found themselves wanting to continually evolve.
